Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins is a Mexican American journalist. She is the host of SportsNation and serves as an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. The first time she worked for ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since her age of nine. Her skills were instrumental in securing her first job as a an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami, where she was a producer of shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then, in St. Petersburg, she was then recruited by the CBS station to work as an sports reporter. In 2009 she moved to Rio Grande Valley to work as a journalist for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move to Rio Grande Valley in Texas in which she was a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. She was also frequently required to act as a sports or weather anchor. Deportes 23 in Dallas, Univision's affiliate station in Dallas. There she had more duties. She did pieces on Major League Baseball's ALDS ALCS and World Series the Dallas Cowboys the NBA postseason and the NBA Finals FC Dallas and the Dallas Stars. It was the same role in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta's parents hail from Veracruz Mexico. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born there on the 22nd of November the 22nd of November, 1985. She is the elder sibling of her parents. In 1992, the family settled in Miami after relocating from Mexico into the US. The couple divorced shortly after and her mother was remarried to an architect from the naval profession named Fabio Fajardo who died of kidney cancer in 2006. On a trip Antonietta spent the time at the home of her sister in Canton Ohio. Her older Collins sister had just landed an offer to work. Antonietta was just graduating from high school, however she knew her plans for what she would do. The result was that she enjoyed the university as well as the fact that it offered the major she wanted. She graduated from high school and was enrolled in media studies at the college. Mark Bergmann, her professor who also managed WRMU's 91.1FM station for which she worked for a number of years, was an acquaintance. Mark Bergmann inspired her to have confidence and also his love for journalism deeply influenced her. She was determined to meet his standards and never let him down.
